For my paintings I use acrylic, on canvas or wood. My work evolves naturally through various techniques; I experiment with colors and shapes whilst applying layers of paint, and as I scratch through those layers, I discover new structures and images. This creates beautiful, and sometimes intricate interactions which reveal complexity, purity, simplicity, and feelings. Some of my work is only complete when embellished with accents of pastel, pencil, and fun collage pieces.

I couldn’t feel happier when a painting is finished. It’s an expression of ME – something that represents my emotions through colors, surfaces, scratches and embellishments. It’s what lights me up and brings me joy.
